Miriam Olga Lloyd-Evans

Miriam is a curator, art historian and specialist in Modern and Contemporary art with a focus on the Middle East region.

Miriam was Lead Curator for the British Museum’s International Engagement department, where she curated exhibitions in London and the Middle East and secured the funding and acquisition of works by contemporary artists and photographers.

She has extensive experience delivering exhibitions and education programmes around the world and often writes and speaks about art for publications, talks, newspapers and magazines. Miriam holds an MA in Curating the Art Museum with distinction from the Courtauld Institute of Art, and a double first BA in History and History of Art from Leeds University.
